Diary

ive always been fascinated with diarys and ive always wanted to keep one, however i feel my diary would get abit repetitive at this moment in time so i shall hold off until a later date. because of this i have decided to give writing a short story ago, about one perticular moment in time, as a memory ....here's the introduction

Her eyes open, revealing the large frame of a pair of shoulders. His back turned away from her, with just the small sound of breathing echoing over the dark haired head, a lot quieter than the elephant snore that briefly woke her just hours before.

She lie’s there for a moment, gathering her thoughts and recollection of the nights events. Laid on the right side of the bed, undressed under the covers, the side she’d never sleep on when in her room alone.

A feeling of content and happiness swept across her heart, sharply followed by regret, but also wishing she didn’t have to regret her decisions of the night, as her fond feelings grew.

The clock placed near her head on the bedside table read it was already getting into the hours of the afternoon, a lie-in which was a lot longer than she was used to. She didn’t mind though cause she knew it wouldn’t be long before she was left again, left wondering what he thought of her, left to occupy herself (a hobby she was getting quite good at lately), left wondering why she was always the one to find herself alone, maybe it ran threw her gene’s. Does anyone else she knows feel this way? Does HE feel this way? All the while she was pushing these thoughts to the back of her mind, locking them in a secret imaginative diary, the type she had as a child with a lock and key she’d keep in her jewellery box hoping her sister wouldn’t find it.

Nervously she sat upright, clutching the duvet to her front, hiding any part of her body. Even though he was still asleep she didn’t want to feel embarrassed if he were suddenly to sit up too. Quickly putting her arms threw a dressing gown, which was a Christmas present, probably the best one she got this year; she stood up and sneaked to the bathroom to fix her hair and face.
